Please use the form below to submit an article, chapter, report, working paper, or other document you have written to ISISA’s publicly accessible Research Archive. All Member Contribution submissions will be reviewed by an administrator before appearing in the Research Archive. Before making a submission, please read the Submission Criteria at the bottom of this page.

Submission Criteria
Member Contributions are limited to submissions from current ISISA members who serve as an author on the document in question. You must provide the document’s full and correct bibliographical reference in APA 7 style. Documents may not exceed 2 GB in size and must contain research concerning islands or within the field of island studies. It is necessary that you have permission to post the document in a public repository: In the case of previously published papers or chapters, this usually requires that:
- the journal or book has published the article open access, or
- that you are posting the accepted, non-typeset, non-formatted version of your paper (rather than the final, formatted PDF).
Submissions by people who are not members of ISISA, that include documents of which the submitter is not an author, that provide an incorrect bibliographical reference or otherwise-incomplete information, that do not concern islands, or for which the authors do not unambiguously have permission to post in a publicly accessible archive will be rejected without comment.
Note on Categories
Categories are important for helping readers discover relevant documents. It is thus important that you select Categories for your document during the submission process.
The category list is not intended to be comprehensive at a detailed level; it is more useful to have broad, umbrella Categories under which readers can find more narrowly focused papers than to have numerous highly specific Categories. However, if you feel that an important Category or Category group is missing or requires revision, please contact the web manager (agrydehoj@islanddynamics.org), using ‘Request for new Research Archive Categories’ as the title of your email. When we regard that addition or alteration of Categories or Category groups would serve the interests of ISISA members and the accessibility of the Research Archive, we will undertake the necessary revisions. Please make this request prior to submitting a Member Contribution to which you wish new Categories to be applied.
